A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) lets you legally appoint trusted people (your Attorneys) to make decisions on your behalf if you lose mental capacity in the future — covering Health & Welfare, Property & Financial Affairs, or both.
Without a registered LPA in place, loved ones cannot automatically access accounts or make formal welfare decisions, often facing costly delays through the Court of Protection.
How our 100% remote LPA service works: We hold a personal telephone or video consultation to understand your wishes, prepare and check your official LPA forms, and email your completed documents with step-by-step signing, witness, and Certificate Provider instructions ready for submission to the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG).

Our Pricing
Fixed-fee pricing includes preparation of BOTH Health & Welfare and Property & Financial Affairs LPA documents.
This is a 100% remote service across England & Wales. Following your phone or video consultation, Opal Legal prepares your LPA forms, emails them to you, and guides you clearly on the exact signing order.
Once signed and witnessed, you post the physical forms to the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) for registration. Please note: the statutory OPG registration fee (currently £92 per LPA document, subject to exemptions/remissions) is separate and paid directly to the OPG.
